AOC AGON PRO AG276FK Released with a 27″ 1080p 540Hz Refresh Rate Fast-IPS Panel

AOC have announced the release of their new AG276FK gaming monitor, a new model in their AGON PRO series of screens. This new screen is 27″ in size and features a 1920 x 1080 resolution combined with a very high 520Hz refresh rate Fast-IPS panel. The new screen complements the high-performance esports models AG246FK (540Hz) and AG256FS (390Hz) already in AOC’s range, providing competitive gamers with another interesting choice for their needs.
“The AG276FK represents another milestone in our commitment to competitive gaming,” says César Acosta, Gaming Product Manager at AGON by AOC. “By introducing this 520 Hz display alongside our AG246FK and AG256FS models, we’re offering esports professionals and enthusiasts a complete range of ultra-high refresh rate options with different sizes, speeds and panel types to match their specific competitive needs.”

AOC AGON PRO AG276FK Specs
Spec-wise the screen is 27″ in size with a flat format ‘Fast IPS’ panel. It offers a 1920 x 1080 resolution, 0.5ms G2G response time, 1000:1 contrast ratio, 400 nits brightness, 178/178 viewing angles, an 8-bit colour depth and an extended colour gamut covering 94.4% DCI-P3 and 94.3% Adobe RGB.
The high 520Hz refresh rate is supported by adaptive-sync for variable refresh rates from compatible systems. The screen also has a 0.3ms MPRT response time spec, indicating the availability of a strobing blur reduction mode on this screen.

The AG276FK incorporates the latest iteration of the Motion Blur Reduction (MBR) and MBR Sync technologies, which can be activated to further enhance motion clarity in competitive scenarios. MBR Sync combines the clarity of backlight strobing technologies with variable refresh rate support to offer crisp, tear-free motion. The monitor also features Low Input Lag mode, bypassing unnecessary image processing to ensure the fastest possible response to player inputs.
The AG276FK comes equipped with a suite of gaming-relevant features. These include multiple pre-calibrated gaming modes optimised for different genres, ensuring players can quickly switch between ideal settings for various titles. The built-in Frame Counter and Shadow Control allow players to monitor their performance and fine-tune their visual experience, while the redesigned OSD menu system provides quick access to critical gaming features. A low profile stand base ensures easy positioning of the screen and your peripherals on the desk.

Connectivity and stand functionality
The screen offers 2x DisplayPort 1.4 and 2x HDMI 2.0 video inputs as well as 4x USB data ports and a headphone connection. PiP and PbP modes are supported to handle multiple inputs. The stand offers a full range of tilt, height, swivel and rotate functions. 2x 5W speakers are also built in to the screen
Pricing and availability
The AGON PRO AG276FK will be available from November 2024 at an MSRP of £499.99 GBP.
