AOC AGON Pro AG256FS Announced with 24.5″ 390Hz IPS Panel
AOC have recently announced a new monitor in their AGON Pro gaming line-up of monitors. The AG256FS is a small 24.5″ sized screen, but offers a 1920 x 1080 resolution and 390Hz refresh rate IPS technology panel. This makes it a high refresh rate offering in this smaller competitive gaming space, if you want an IPS panel and not a TN Film panel although there are other models available from other manufacturers like Acer based on the same panel.
In other specs the screen has a 1ms G2G response time, 1000:1 contrast ratio, 400 nits brightnerss, 178/178 viewing angles, 8-bit colour depth and a standard sRGB colour gamut. For connectivity there are 1x DisplayPiort 1.4 and 2x HDMI 2.0 available, along with 4x USB data ports and a headphone jack.
It’s priced at €449 Euro and is expected to be released this summer.
