Monitors continue to flow from AOC with a further model released aimed at competitive gamers, this time in a smaller screen size. Again this is part of their G4 Gaming line-up and offers a 24.5″ ‘Fast IPS’ panel, 1080p resolution and super-fast 420Hz overclocked refresh rate, which should appeal to esports enthusiasts far and wide.

AOC 25G4KUR Specs

This is a 24.5” sized screen with a ‘Fast IPS’ panel and a 1920 x 1080 (FHD) resolution. Other specs include a 86.38 PPI pixel density, 1ms G2G response time spec (0.3ms MPRT), 1000:1 contrast ratio, 350 nits brightness (SDR), 178/178 viewing angles and an extended colour gamut covering 121% of the sRGB, 92% of the DCI-P3 and 88.1% of the Adobe RGB colour spaces.

The native 400Hz refresh rate (420Hz overclocked) is supported by adaptive-sync for VRR from compatible systems. HDR is limited, offering DisplayHDR 400 certification only with a peak brightness of 400 nits.

As you would expect to see in an esports focussed screen, there is a whole host of gaming features to help you stay one step ahead of the competition including Low Input Lag, MBR Sync (motion blur reduction mode), Game Colour, Shadow Control, Crosshair, Frame Counter and Game Mode. It also comes with AOC’s G-Menu software to allow you to customise your monitor to suit your gaming needs.

The stand has a full range of tilt, height, swivel and rotate adjustments and includes both Low Blue Mode and Flicker-Free technologies, so you can be assured of your comfort during those long hours gaming.

Connectivity

For connectivity there are 2x HDMI 2.0 ports, 1x DisplayPort 1.4 and 4x USB 3.2 Type-A connections and a headphone jack.
