Acer XR272U P with 27″ Curved IPS Panel, 1440p and 170Hz Refresh Rate
Details of a new monitor from Acer have appeared online this week. The Acer XR272U P is a 27″ model with a 2560 x 1440 resolution, IPS panel and 170Hz refresh rate. The XR272U P has a subtly curved format which is fairly rare in a screen of this size and format (being 16:9 aspect ratio still) with a 2900R curvature.
Acer XR272U P Specs
The 1440p resolution and 170Hz refresh rate is supported by adaptive-sync for VRR from both AMD and NVIDIA systems. A 1ms VRB (Visual Response Boost) spec is also listed thanks to the inclusion of Acer’s strobing blur reduction mode. In other specs there is a standard sRGB (99%) colour gamut and 8-bit colour depth, along with 1000:1 contrast ratio, 400 cd/m2 brightness and 178/178 viewing angles.
USB type-C included
The screen also offers USB type-C with DP Alt mode and 65W power delivery for single cable connectivity from supporting devices like modern laptops. DisplayPort 1.4 and 2x HDMI 2.0 ports are also offered, and the screen also has 4x USB 3.2 ports and built in simple 2x2W speakers, a headphone jack and a fully adjustable stand with tilt, height, swivel and rotate adjustments.
