Acer Predator XB273U F6 Announced with 1000Hz Refresh Rate

Unveiled at CES 2026 this week was Acer’s new 1000Hz gaming monitor. The 27″ Predator XB273U F6 monitor features a lightning-fast 500Hz native refresh rate at it’s standard 1440p resolution, but using its dual-mode “Dynamic Frequency and Resolution (DFR)” option it can reach an astonishing 1000Hz at 1280 x 720 resolution for unmatched smoothness and precision.
“The Predator XB273U F6 represents the next frontier in gaming displays,” said Charles Wang, Senior Manager, Product Management, Digital Displays at Acer. “With its 500 Hz refresh rate, advanced IPS technology, and 1000 Hz dynamic mode, it delivers both speed and visual fidelity that redefine what competitive gamers can expect from a monitor.”
Acer Predator XB273U F6 Specs

The screen is 27″ in size with an IPS LCD panel. It has a 2560 x 1440 resolution, 0.5ms G2G response time, 2000:1 contrast ratio, 350 nits brightness, 178/178 viewing angles, 8-bit+FRC colour depth and a wide gamut covering 95% DCI-P3.
The 500Hz native / 1000Hz dual-mode refresh rate is supported by adaptive-sync for VRR, and includes AMD FreeSync Premium certification. The big question of course will be whether the IPS LCD panel can offer response times anywhere near fast enough to keep up with the very high frame rate demands. We’ve not seen any which reach these kind of levels in the past.
Connectivity includes 1x DisplayPort 1.4, 2x HDMI 2.1 and a headphone connection. There’s also some basic 2x 2W speakers built in and the stand offers tilt, height, swivel and rotate adjustments.
Pricing and availability
The Predator XB273U F6 will be available in North America in Q2’2026, starting at USD 799.99; in EMEA in Q3’2026, starting at EUR 899; and in China in Q2’2026, starting at RMB 6,999.
