Acer Nitro KG272U X with 27″ Flat VA Panel and 240Hz Refresh Rate
A short news piece here but worthy of a quick mention. Acer are planning to launch their new Acer Nitro KG272U X monitor (aka KG272U Xbmiipx) which offers a 27″ screen size with a rare flat format VA panel and 240Hz refresh rate. Most 27″ 240Hz VA monitors available tend to be curved, often aggressively so, and so this screen offers an interesting alternative to those who want a flat screen.
In other specs the Acer Nitro KG272U Xbmiipx will offer a 2500:1 contrast ratio thanks to the VA panel, along with 350 cd/m2 brightness and 178/178 viewing angles. For video connectivity there will be 1x DisplayPort and 2x HDMI 2.1 connections (capabilities not listed) offered. There will also be a headphone jack and some basic 2x 2W integrated speakers for audio.
The KG272U X is expected to retail for ~$330 USD
