AOC AGON Pro AG246FK Released with 24″ 540Hz Panel for Competitive Gamers
AOC have announced the release of their new AGON Pro AG246FK monitor, a 24″ sized screen aimed at esports and competitive gaming that offers a 1080pr resolution and a 540Hz refresh rate. It’s a competing option to models like the Asus ROG Swift Pro PG248QP that we’ve already reviewed, and is built around a super-fast TN Film technology panel.
AOC AGON Pro AG246FK specs
The screen os 24.1″ in size and built around an AU Optronics TN Film technology panel. It has a flat format and 16:9 aspect ratio. There’s a 1920 x 1080 resolution, 0.2ms G2G response time spec, 1000:1 contrast ratio, 400 nits brightness, 170/160 viewing angles, an 8-bit colour depth and a standard colour gamut covering 99% sRGB.
It’s high 540Hz native refresh rate is supported by adaptive-sync for variable refresh rates from compatible NVIDIA and AMD systems. It has also been certified under the AMD ‘FreeSync Premium Pro’ and NVIDIA ‘G-sync Compatible’ programmes.
For connectivity there are 1x DisplayPort and 2x HDMI ports as well as 4x USB data ports and a headphone jack. The screen includes 2x 5W integrated speakers and its stand offers a full range of tilt, height, swivel and rotate adjustments.
Pricing and Availability
The AG246FK is expected to retail for €699 across European markets and should be available from July.
