ViewSonic have announced the release of their new 27″ screen. The rather long-named VX2758-2KP-MHD features an IPS technology panel with 2560 x 1440 resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. Adaptive-sync is available, offering support for variable refresh rates from compatible NVIDIA and AMD systems.
In other specs the screen has a 3ms G2G response time (OD on), 1000:1 contrast ratio, 350 cd/m2 brightness, 178/178 viewing angles, 8-bit+FRC colour depth and a slightly-wider-than-standard sRGB colour gamut. A 1ms MPRT spec is also listed as the screen has a “1ms Mode” strobing backlight option.
The stand offers a full range of tilt, height, swivel and rotate adjustments. There are DisplayPort 1.2a, HDMI 2.0 and HDMI 1.4 connections provided along with a headphone jack. Some simple integrated speakers are also provided.
The screen should be available now and is priced at $335.99 USD on ViewSonic’s website.
