Samsung Electronics yesterday announced the expanded 2021 Odyssey monitor lineup will be available across the global markets from June 21, 2021. Following the curved gaming monitor launch in 2020, Samsung now offers a variety of Odyssey monitors in flat-screen design, ranging from 24 to 28 inches. According to the press release, “the new lineup delivers hyper-real picture quality, a higher response level, tailored ergonomics and intuitive usability. Together with these latest features, gaming enthusiasts can enjoy real-world colors, pinpoint accuracy and sharp response speeds for their PC and console gaming entertainment devices.”

The latest additions to Samsung’s Odyssey gaming monitor lineup include:

This model also boasts a supposed 1ms G2G response time and adaptive-sync VRR via the G-sync Compatible and AMD FreeSync Premium certifications. Tilt, height and swivel adjustments are offered from the stand. In other specs there is a 1000:1 contrast ratio, 350 cd/m2 brightness, 178/178 viewing angles, 1.07b colour depth and standard 99% sRGB colour gamut. 1x DisplayPort 1.2 and 1x HDMI 2.0 connections are offered along with a headphone out connection.
