Dell P3222QE with 31.5″ IPS Panel, 4K Resolution and USB type-C for General Office Uses
Dell have announced the release of their new P3222QE display, a 31.5″ IPS monitor with a 4K resolution and USB-C hub capability. It’s designed for general office use and for improving productivity with a range of useful connection features and options.
Spec wise the 31.5″ IPS panel offers a 3840 x 2160 “4K” resolution, 5ms G2G response time, 1000:1 contrast ratio, 350 cd/m2 brightness, 178/178 viewing angles, 1.07b colour depth and a standard gamut covering 99% sRGB.
The USB type-C connection makes for clutter free connectivity and offers 65W power delivery. There is also 1x DisplayPort 1.4, 1x HDMI 2.0 and 4x USB ports provided. There is also an RJ45 Ethernet connection provided. MAC address pass-through, PXE boot, and wake-on-LAN are conveniently built in. An interesting connection feature is the fact that you can simply press the monitor power button and the power sync feature seamlessly starts your monitor and connected Dell laptop, even when the laptop lid is closed (compatible with select Dell PCs). The stand offers a full range of tilt, height, swivel and rotate functions.
No confirmation of release date or pricing at this stage but expect it to appear on Dell.com very soon
