AOC Q27G4ZMN Launched with 27″ VA Panel, 240Hz and a Mini LED Backlight

AOC have quietly released their new Q27G4ZMN in some regions. It’s a new 27″ sized display built around a ‘Fast VA’ technology LCD panel, and offering a 2560 x 1440 resolution, 240Hz refresh rate and an impressive 1,152-zone Mini LED backlight. This backlight offers high-end HDR capabilities in the LCD monitor segment, with VESA DisplayHDR 1000 certification and a peak brightness of 1200 nits.

AOC Q27G4ZMN Specs

The new screen is 27″ in sized and built around a so-called ‘Fast VA’ technology LCD panel. It offers a 2560 x 1440 resolution, 1ms G2G response time spec, an impressive 5000:1 contrast ratio, 450 nits brightness (SDR), 178/178 viewing angles, 16.7m colours and a wide colour gamut covering 100% sRGB and 97% DCI-P3. The native 240Hz refresh rate is supported by adaptive-sync for VRR from compatible systems.

For connectivity there are 1x DisplayPort 1.4 and 2x HDMI 2.0 ports available, along with an audio output. The stand offers a full range of tilt, height, swivel and rotate adjustments.

1,152-zone Mini LED backlight

For HDR the screen offers a high-end Mini LED backlight with 1,152 local dimming zones, offering excellent control over the content and improvements to contrast, black depth and brightness. The screen is certified under the VESA DisplayHDR 1000 scheme and includes a peak brightness spec of 1200 nits.
